SpongeBob SquarePants comes to the 3D surface for the first time ever in the trailer for Paramount Animation’s “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.”
The feature-length theatrical release starring a CGI version of everybody’s favorite sponge and his underwater friends follows SpongeBob on a quest to reclaim a page from a magical book, which gives anybody writing on its pages the power to do just about whatever they want.

Antonio Banderas plays the pesky pirate who found the book and destroyed SpongeBob’s pineapple under the sea to steal a missing magical page.
